HOSPICE
HOSPICE VOLUNTEER TRAINING
HOSPICE VOLUNTEER TRAINING: Hospice is a special kind of caring for people of all ages who are living with life-threatening illness. It includes discussion of death & dying, exploring spirituality, the role of the hospice staff, palliative care, interacting with the hospice family, and the art of listening. Hospice volunteers work with the CH&H Hospice team to provide care, comfort, and support to persons at the end of life and to their families and caregivers.
